On behalf of a municipality in the Gudbrandsdalen region of Norway, we are recruiting a nurse for a permanent position within the municipal healthcare services.

The position includes work in both nursing homes and home care services, offering a varied workday and close collaboration with patients, relatives and other healthcare professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are looking for stable employment, professional development and support with relocation to Norway.

About the position

The position is part of the municipality’s healthcare and care services and includes work both in nursing homes/institutions and home care services.

You will work closely with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality and holistic care. The workdays are varied and offer good opportunities to further develop your competence within areas such as:

• elderly care
• rehabilitation
• chronic diseases
• follow-up of patients with complex healthcare needs

We are looking for nurses who

• Hold a valid license as a nurse from an EU/EEA country
• Is motivated to obtain Norwegian authorisation (we assist with the process)
• Speak fluent English and are highly motivated to learn Norwegian
• Are willing to complete our free Norwegian language course
• Enjoys teamwork and has genuine compassion for patients
• Is flexible and able to adapt to different work situations
• Holds a driver’s license (preferred)
